Scope of Services

Atlas Legal Intelligence provides research services limited to lawful public records and open-source information. Services may include public records research, digital footprint analysis, business and corporate research, litigation support research, and related research deliverables as agreed upon in writing.

Atlas Legal Intelligence does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, investigative services, or representation of any kind.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Engagement with Atlas Legal Intelligence does not create an attorney-client relationship. All services are provided in support of licensed attorneys and legal professionals, who retain full responsibility for legal analysis, strategy, and decision-making.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:

Confirming that requested services are appropriate for their intended use

Providing accurate, non-confidential information necessary to perform the research

Reviewing all deliverables and independently verifying conclusions before reliance
Atlas Legal Intelligence relies on information provided by the client and publicly available sources and is not responsible for inaccuracies originating from those sources.
Use of Public Information
All findings are derived from publicly available records and open-source materials. Public records may be incomplete, outdated, or contain inaccuracies. Atlas Legal Intelligence does not warrant the completeness or current accuracy of any public information.

Confidentiality
Atlas Legal Intelligence treats client information and research requests as confidential and will not knowingly disclose client-specific information except as required by law or with client authorization. This confidentiality obligation does not extend to information that is publicly available or independently obtained.
Fees and Payment
Fees are determined based on the approved scope of work and pricing provided in writing. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are issued upon completion of services and are due upon receipt.
Failure to remit payment may result in suspension of future services.
Intellectual Property
All research deliverables prepared by Atlas Legal Intelligence remain the intellectual property of Atlas Legal Intelligence until payment is received in full. Upon payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive right to use the deliverables for lawful professional purposes.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atlas Legal Intelligence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of its services or deliverables. Atlas Legal Intelligence makes no guarantees regarding outcomes, accuracy beyond sourced materials, or completeness of public records.

Total liability, if any, shall be limited to the fees paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

No Guarantees
Atlas Legal Intelligence makes no guarantees regarding outcomes, legal conclusions, or strategic results. Research findings are informational in nature and intended to support, not replace, professional judgment.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Modifications
Atlas Legal Intelligence reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
Permissible Use
Services are intended for use by licensed attorneys and legal professionals in connection with litigation, due diligence, or risk assessment matters.
